I have been practising Hatha Yoga for fifteen years and been teaching since 2006. In addition to Hatha I have experience of practising Dru, Iyengar, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Pre-natal Yoga. I am a Yoga Registered Teacher (YRT -200hrs) with the Independent Yoga Network and am qualified with The British School of Yoga. I also hold a British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course Certificate and am fully insured. My background is in Occupational Therapy where I specialised in Mental Health, however I left the NHS after fighting lymphatic cancer (twice over) in my 20’s to re-train as a yoga teacher. Yoga helped me so much through this challenge that I wanted to make it part of my life and inspire others to do so. Since teaching two of my past students have recently become qualified yoga teachers themselves with classes of their own. I am also a qualified Nutritional Adviser, Reiki Master Practitioner and a busy Mum of two young girls.
