Utilise this open session to play Minecraft / Roblox with friends. Multiple online programming platforms will be available to explore – suitable for young / beginner coders 6+ £3.00 per person.
Tuesday 5-6pm, Minecraft and Roblox Coding with Code Kingdoms.
Develop your problem solving skills and attention to detail by independently building your own games in your favourite gaming platforms. Learn some of the key structures needed to develop you coding skills. Can you complete them all? 6+ £3.00 per person
Wednesday 5-6pm SEND ‘BLUE’
Lead by a fully qualified Computer Science teacher the classes aims to be flexible for all needs and interests in computing. The classes usually will be no more than 10 SEN children, which hosts more than 20 computers. As an experienced teacher leads the class all children’s needs can be discussed and registered carefully to ensure these are met. Members have the opportunity to play MINECRAFT and ROBLOX, either individually with guidance or seek the chance to build on social skills and link with other gaming members. CODING is also an opportunity through these games or other platforms. Discussion with the teacher for individual requirement is welcomed. £3
Thursday 4-5:30pm Creative Minecraft
Packed full of learning, experimentation, problem solving, creativity and fun. Once your child has mastered the secrets of Minecraft such as brewing potions and conquering the Nether – they will learn how to build a variety of different items that will take their Minecraft skills way beyond the basics. Build a Minecraft world that’s as Epic as their imagination! 6+ £5.00 per person.
Thursday 5:30 – 7pm Raspberry Pi Projects
Does your child like to explore with hardware? Do they want to know more? The Raspberry Pi is a capable little computer. It is great way to explore electronics, programming and digital making. Connecting hardware and electronical components to make a specific project over the term. From creating your own Buggy/Robot to a dancing flower garden. Projects will allow children to work both independently and as a team throughout the challenges. Age 9+ Limited places. £5.00 per person (intro)
